| Never thought of that but it sounds really good. Some people used crushed pork rinds to coat before frying. I haven't tried that one either.

| I fry it quite often, though I haven't tried frying it in breading - - it's quite delicious fried as is and sprinkling with salt when it's fresh out of the pan.

| Fried veggies are great! I love zucchini sliced lengthwise and fried in whatever coating your Atkins level allows. Cauliflower would need to be blanched before frying, I think... or it might not cook through.

Sounds like a terrific idea - Let us know how it turns out. Sometimes i fry GRATED cauliflower (usually w/ onions & garlic). It tastes good on it's own or i bake it as a veggie pizza crust w/ an egg and some baking powder and then add sauce/ cheese (or white pizza > cheese + vegetables & herbs sans sauce). Sometimes i add a few eggs and grated cheese even some other grated vegetables and make a crustless kind of soufflee out of it (it's fine cheeseless too). Bottom line: fried grated cauliflower tastes great but i've never fried whole flowerets.
