Default BP dropping on Atkins

My figures
16 Nov 2005 - 176/96
28 Dec 2005 - 154/89
07 Jan 2006 - 145/84
14 Jan 2006 - 122/80

Didn't have it checked before I started due to hostile to Atkins Doctor who I told to get you know whatted and walked out of surgery. Get itr checked at Chemist (pharamacist) - and it's FREE.

I'm very pleased with these results. Have never taken meds as I watched my mother try 28 BP meds before they found one that suited (she and I suffer multiple drug allergies/bad reactions). She went through incontinence at both orifices, fainting, itching, headaches, weight gain and lots more. So happy to be controlling it without drugs.
Bless Dr A!

Dr. Atkins died of a heart atack as an older man/ senior. If many younger people that are obese dont drop their weight they don't have the chance to have a full life into their late 30's and 40's much less 60's. Before starting the atkins way my bp had been 147/96 , I felt horrible with constant headaches, bloat, swollen hands legs and face. I couldn't keep up with the normal activities that I had performed the yrs prior. Now while on Atkins my BP is 115/66 and I am not taking meds. Besides food is not the only thing that affects heart disease, enviornmental conditions and stress will wear on a body that is being nurished the propper way. which will imply that besides your diet a life style change needs to occur too. Btw my 14yr old is still eating chips, bread, soft drinks, cookies ect and her bp is 137/90 . Since seeing the difference, I'm slowly weaning her off the stuff and on to my way of eating.

Dr Atkins did NOT die of a heart attack! He had a fall on an icy street and died in the hospital from accident related complications. I think he was 72.

Glad you feel so much better on this WOE, so do I.
