Blood pressure monitor

I was told to get a BP monitor. When I take my pressure at a cvs it is fine. At the doctors office it is always high. A case of white coat syndrome or something
Anyway he told me to buy a BP monitor. I hear many of these are very innacurate
Any suggestions as to make a model number

My doc suggested an Omron fully automatic bp monitor...I've been using it for over a year and it seems to work okay....my doc had me bring it into the office and calibrated it w/the office bp monitor - hope this helps you some....

what model number do you have? Is it one that goes around the wrist or arm

it's an Omron Automatic Blood Pressure Monitor, Model: HEM-741CRELN - goes around arm....hope this helps!
