| Yes... you'll find that nearly everyone's cholesterol profile improves eating the Atkins way. Dr Atkins was a cardiologist and developed his diet with his patients in mind. Actually, lots of health "numbers" improve with this way of eating: Cholesterol, blood pressure, blood sugar. The best thing is to have blood work done before starting, and then again after a while (minimum six weeks) on the diet. The changes often, are astounding.
