| Anyone know if you can get splenda in Germany? It isn't available in Belgium and I didn't look last time I was in Germany. We visit often so it would be nice to get it there. Thanks! |

| Are you military? How do you get your splenda? I do not get why it isn't approved in Belgium and Germany not either. Grrrrrrr! Thanks for the reply! You are American also? I am American but living in Belgium for 8 years(married to a Belgian). I love visiting Germany. My daughter loves the country too and had her German flag waving during the World Cup. Danke! |

| British Military. I haven't seen Splenda in the NAAFI (British PX) either, but I haven't been to a big one. I don't use much sweetener, and still have some stock from UK. I use more liquid Hermesetas than anything at the moment, and that is saccharin, which is Atkins legal. I have seen quite a few German Sweeteners on the shelves, but haven't studied the labels yet. When the time comes, if all else fails, I get get what I need mail order from UK using the Forces Post office.

| Copied from another thread: Here are some links that can help you with your search for Splenda and other items: http://www.lowcarbstore.be/de/ (Dutch company that sells Splenda and other low-carb goodies) http://www.supermass.com/ (German company: They have Atkins supplements and reasonable priced supps and mins as well as a no-iron/low-carb multivitamin) http://www.lowcarbladen.de/irw_page.534e5f486f6d65.html (German: They also have a nice sortiment of low-carb food items) As for the flax, you can go to the DM or any Drogeriemarkt for these items. I found both golden and dark flax at the DM and also at the Kaufland. I hope these help you find what you are looking for! If you have any other questions about where to find what, or in general, just PM me and I will get in touch with you ASAP.

| Another member from Germany weighing in (no pun intended)... it's good to know I'm not the only one hoping to lose weight in deutschland! I find it somewhat difficult here to determine what the carb count is in things (not everything is labeled) so, for now, I'm sticking to foods that are as natural as possible. Eventually though (I'm only on my 4th day of induction) I know I'll need to branch out... |

| I guess there aren't many folks in Germany on here! As for anyone looking for splenda, you can find it here... Low Carb in großer Auswahl I only order mine when I absolutely have to. I usually have my family pick up a 1000 count packet box for me from the commissary on base. BTW, you can also order the Torani sugar free syrups there (made with succralose/Splenda) for your coffee! I've tried it before and it tastes great!

| Lol if you need Splenda in Germany, go to Subway, as they have free sachets of Splenda with their sugars etc..... As for me, I usually buy sweetner tablets from Aldi or Lidl. They don't contain Aspartame, so I guess they should be ok. Nevertheless, I do not consume that much... |
