Never heard of spaghetti squash. I have just come home from work and my lovely hubby had cooked me tea....and a new vegetable....BUT...it looked like a sweet potato and I hated to tell him I didn't think I could have it yet so I ate it. I've got to go and find out how bad it was now!!! It was butternut squash. Bless him, he's trying to find me new things x x

Butternut squash is yummy either baked or boiled and mashed with butter once you get to the starchy veg rung of OWL. I bet it would roast well too. 1/4 cup is about 5 net carbs according to fitday.

I'm sure Hellmans full fat mayo is fine and I buy asda's own sugar free and caffeine free coke. No aspartame in the coke and it tastes great.

I think most mayo's over here have sugar in the ingredients but many of us use them without any problems. you might find other brands with less carbs per 100 gram if you read labels.

Same for philadelphia cream cheese - I buy Waitrose own brand 'soft creamy cheese' which has half the carbs of philly!

Not sure about the turkey rashers but maybe if you can list the ingredients we can help you decide.

Hi,

I found a great sugar free mayonnaise from a company called "pollen Organics", I bought some when visiting my friends in Hampshire, I must admit I don't remember seeing it any supermarkets or health food shops but it is definately available and is yummy

Ciao xx

Sugar free mayo yay! I've been using Hellmans and always felt guilty it contained a bit of sugar. I googled the name and found a company that stocks "Pollen Organics" mayo. It's £2.49 for a 300g jar. Delivery is £2.95 or free if order is over £13.95. They have some really nice stuff including gluten, wheat and sugar free items. I might order a few herbs to go along with my mayo. The Organic Delivery Company. Local organic food delivery to you. London, UK.

Thanks DebbieW

No problem. Just checked and the delivery is more if you're based outside of London I'm afraid.

Please telephone us on 020 7739 8181 to make your order.
Please do not place an order on the site as it will not be processed.
We deliver our full range of organic groceries (except fresh fruit, veg and dairy items) to your area by overnight courier, at a cost of £8.95. You can have your order delivered on any weekday, just give us 48 hours notice. Orders made at the weekend will be delivered on Wednesday.
Our office hours are 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, and 10am to 4pm on Sunday
Your order will arrive in a box made from recycled card and your groceries are packed using pieces of biodegradable sweetcorn. Isn't that amazing

Default Re: Uk 2009

Hi everyone, i'm hoping someone can give me some hope or something to cling on to as i'm about to give up on the Atkins WOE.
I have stuck rigid...and I mean rigid...for the last 5 weeks. Wk one - lost 5lb, wk 2 - lost 2lb. wk 3 - no loss, wk 4 - no loss, wk 5 - 1lb gain !!!!
According to DANDR, I have a low resistance so can't understand what is happening.
I only have 14lb to go before I hit goal so introduced more acceptable veg in wk three. As there was no loss, I stuck to that in wk 4. I don't like nuts so three times in wk 5, I had blackberries with cream...that week I put a pound on. I'm absolutely gutted.

I don't know where to go from here.My measurements haven't changed in the last three weeks either.
Any advice would be appreciated.
