I mostly eat flax cereal/a quick grilled burger/mini quiches(great cold as well as hot) or an omlette. Varying the omlette a lot and experimenting with different flavours means I don't get bored of them. e.g. adding cream cheese/cream/different veggies etc. That or I simply mash up some tuna or eggs with mayo and eat straight from the bowl mm!

Hi Everyone! I am starting fresh again with Atkins (after a 3 year break)-anyway...when I first heard about the "danish" it was a slightly different recipe that what I have seen here. So, I thought I would include it as well just to add some variety! Soften 1 tsp of cream cheese, then mix with 1 egg. Add a little cinnamom, a dash of lemon juice and 1/2-3/4 packet of splenda. Bake in microwave until cooked. Then for the ultimate "treat" that makes this like a real danish is the cream cheese "frosting". Add 1 tablespoon of softened cream cheese to 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice, cinnamon to taste and 1/2-3/4 packet of splenda. Mix thoroughly and cover the top of your "danish". Very very tasty...especially when you are in the mood for something a little sweeter in the morning. I don't find that it kicks my cravings in, however, people who are sensitive to sweeteners may need to cut back on the amount of Splenda they use in this recipe. I also find this to be a real life saver if I am tempted by deserts that others around me may be enjoying....it's filling and very satisfying!

Hi there, I was sure this recipe would already be here, but I've searched the forums under "Egg substitute" "Egg Protein" "Egg pancakes" "Dried Egg" and can't find it, so if I'm duplicating sorry, but here goes... Ingredients: Egg substitute Cream Water Shopping List: Egg substitute - I have Handy Egg (dried whole Egg) that I bought from Tesco in the UK Cream - I use double cream (heavy cream in US?) because it makes up more pretend milk, especially considering you are only allowed 3tbs max! Instructions: Ok, I just tried this one day off the fly, so I have no idea of the measurements, I just judge the amount by how much I want to make (probably one on induction!!!). I mix the cream and water to the consistency of milk and then add the egg substitute until the consistency resembles that of normal pancake mixture. That's it! Seriously, you can just use this like regular pancake mix, pour it in the pan, fry it, and flip it too! Sweet with lemon and splenda or savoury with ham and cream cheese or however you like your pancakes...and they're tasty pancakes too! The taste and texture are only a tiny bit off, so if it doesn't act like a pancake, keep experimenting until the mix is right. I know this isn't really a "recipe" as such, and I'm sure it's must have been posted on the forum before, but it is a good b.fast idea if you're after something a bit lighter than an omelette. Enjoy!
