As is any weight loss plan if you go off of it . Heck, just ask anyone who has cheated, going back to your old ways off of this WOE just lets the lbs pile right back on. Weight Watchers is effective for some if they are happier with those food choices, but yes, it does require discipline to stay with the plan just like this does. Atkins is wonderful, and it is definately the WOE for me, but others have their own inclinations.

Try KETO brand Ketchup, easy to find at Kroger, GNC, pretty much anywhere. I actually like it better than regular ketchup, it advertises itself as a gourmet ketchup and is hands-down the best low carb product I have found.

Couple it with some mustard and put it on Nathan's hotdogs, yum

Default Low Carb Fries

What about those low carb fries they had all over the news in August developed by Randy Blaun. Where are they? Does anyone know when those are supposed to come into the stores? Wouldn't those taste great with some of that low carb ketchup?

This is all bad bad stuff . Low-carb versions of high carb products often rely heavily on sugar-alcohols or other psuedo-carb fillers. For developing good habits and maintaining long term weight loss this stuff is pure poison.

NulloModo,

accourding to the label, there ARE no sugar alcohols....just 1g of sugar per Tbsp (no fiber or sugar alcohols.....nothing to deduct)

it's not so hard to believe when you consider the "regular" version only has 4g per Tbsp

they also managed to reduce the sodium by 75% without sacrificing taste and/or thickness, though the color is a tad brighter

as for low carb french fries? doubtful that they are actually "low carb" but probably lowER carb

I remember all the hype Tropicana made about low carb orange juice.........until they released it (i think it has something like 17g)

i can live without potatos but a double bacon cheeseburger just isn't the same without ketchup and a bun (i use Atkins Bagels....they're like kaiser rolls)[/u]

Hehe, I guess I'm just biased, I've always found ketchup in general distasteful. Much more of a mayo and mustard on a burger guy.
