| I will check this yogurt out, next time I am at superwalmart or Sam's. I have yeast problem and yogurt is suggested. I will read the label to see if it is something that can help me with my problem. Thanks for the tip. Happy Low Carbing! :icondance |

| I don't know about the Carb Countdown yoghurt, but if you have a Trader Joe's nearby you might want to check out their greek yogurt. It's not deliberately low carb, but it does have only 2/3 the carbs of regular yogurt, the same amount of carbs as sour cream. It's much like regular plain yogurt, but thicker and not quite as sour. |

| After reading the above post, I did a search for greek yogurt. I learned that it can be difficult to find, I haven't looked in my area yet, so I don't know. But, I did find this recipe, in case you are interested. |

| While I'm not a fan of very much dairy, I tried the Strawberry Yogurt Smoothie today. It was good, although I have nothing to compare it to since I never eat yogurt. They also come in Strawberry-Banana, Peach and Black Cherry. I think I might give them a try a little later in owl since bananas and peaches come later than berries. Martha

| At my local grocery store they dont have the Carb Countdown Yogurt so i just get the Danon Low Carb Yogurt. So far i've only seen peach and vanilla flavors, and i must say both are really good. I eat one as a snack between lunch and dinner. :nod

| Danon has other flavors such as blueberry, stawberry & raspberry but the vanilla and peach are usally the ones that are always in stock (I like the peach one best personally). Keto made a great 3-carb yogurt in Lemon and Lime (and a few less-interesting 4-carb flavors) but they were very expensive and seem to have disappeared from the shelves of even the low-carb specialty stores. That was a shame. All of the above are only 60 cal for a 4-oz serving. They now make the Dannon ones in a 32-oz container. I found it (for the first time!) at my local Canned Foods outlet for only $1.49! |

| I don't know about everyone else, but these days I am very wary of any new foods labeled "Low Carb". I do like yogurt, but I like whole milk yogurt that lists at least three live cultures on the label. It is an acceptable low carb food because the carbs listed on the label are actually incorrect, but must be reported using FDA designated formulas. Look it up on Low Carb Nexus where there is an excellent article. Like low carbers have always said. Shop the perimeter of most markets where "real" food is stocked and you won't too often go wrong. |
