| I prefer these bars to almost all of the others (though I do like the Atkins Breakfast bars - especially the apple crisp). However, I really avoided anything containing sugar alcohols early on in my diet. If you're looking for breakfast convenience foods, what I used to do was buy low-carb tortillas from the supermarket, and rewrap breakfast sandwiches (bacon, egg, and cheese), from the local deli or fast food place. My induction phase really moved along with that. Now that I've moved out of induction, but am still trying to keep my carb count low, I usually eat a bar or two during the day. They are really good. - Andrew |

| They are good, but during induction you should focus on whole, unprocessed foods. A lot of people debate on whether or not to count sugar alcohols towards your daily carb tally. After reading some of the posts and opinions on this board I am starting to believe that it might be a good idea for me to do that.

| I love these bars. I found them as Costco (Sam's club) and they were buy one get one free. While I know it's not recommended in Induction, I work on an ambulance and sometimes it's the only food I will get during a 12 hour shift and it's better than grabbing something nasty. They are really good especially considering how PowerBars used to taste!
