| I hate to hear that your experience with spaghetti squash was so bad. I have bought 2 of these squash and we just loved it. Here is how I prepared it. I cut it into 2 pieces and scraped out the seeds and strings out and threw the strings ans seeds away. then I put the two halves into boiling water with salt in the water. Boiled for 20 minutes, then placed in ice water to cool enough to be able to handle them. Then I scraped with a fork the inside of the squash. It looked simular to spaghetti and we liked it for a change in the menu. Maybe this will help someone else know how to cook it, by me posting this little bit of information. Now I tried Jicama and hated that!!! for sure. |

| Heck where was my brain!!! I did miss read this post. I agree on the low carb pasta. I would rather do without than eat that stuff. Do try the squash if you can find it. I was sceptical, but got a nice surprise. We loved it. sorry for the wrong information. :nod |

| I agree that the boxed pasta is pretty gross. Personally im with Becky, the squash is just yummy! I go the easy route on cooking it though... cut in half long ways, scrape out the seeds. Put cut side down into a micro safe dish (I use a pie dish) add a little water to the dish, cover with plastic wrap and nuke in the micro for approx. 10 mins. ps. the squash to me taste better that day made, the next day to me it has too much of a "squashy" taste. Try freezing the extra sauce and use for quick meals. |

| Yeah, the boxed pasta wasn't too great, although I was somewhat grateful for it when I really wanted some spaghetti. Now that I've had spaghetti over fried zucchini, I'll NEVER go back to any type of spaghetti pasta! YUMMMM!!! :yes

| Atkins Spaghetti was AWFUL! It sure cured my taste for pasta. I'd much rather do without than eat that stuff. I'm not even interested in trying any other brands. Oh well, onward and downward (on the scales)!

| I tried Dreamfields pasta and it was identical in taste and texture to real pasta. I really couldn't tell the difference. In fact, it almost tastes too good to be true. |
