Atkins Shakes...

Wow, that tasted horrrrrrrible. I got some yesterday and damn, just damn...it tasted like *** to me. It sorta reminded me of a slim fast shake. Anyone got some good shakes that they'd like to tell me about?

All I have to say is when I first started drinking these shakes I had to use a straw and place it as far back as I could without gagging myself. Now I drink them (still with a straw) but they actually taste alot better. I guess my taste has changed =/
I couldn't stand the strawberry or vanilla, coffee and choc. were the only ones I could drink plain. Another user suggested using SF syrup and ice, I tried using a shot of decaf espresso in a vanilla once, I just about ralphed. I too am interested in a change, the atkins shakes are just getting too costly for me. Anyone have any suggestion?

I really like the EAS shakes, not sure if you can get them everywhere but I buy them at Wal-Mart. They're sweetened with Splenda and I can't find anything illegal in them. Does anyone know for sure if they're allowed?

I've only tried the vanilla, but I didn't think it was that bad.

I drink mine with crushed ice. Maybe that helps?

I like the vanilla and the strawberry. The only thing I notice is that they leave an unpleasant aftertaste. I always go and brush my teeth and tongue afterwards.

i've drank the atkins and the carb smart shakes. i like atkins better. the trick for me is to get the shake just about frozen to the point of not being able to get it through a straw. i find they are much better that way than just cold from the frig. watch for them on sale at wal-mart and other places since wm will match the price.

I bought the Cappuccino Shake Mix and thought I would try it with hot
water as a replacement for coffee. Not a good idea!! It was most disgusting.
