| I tried the Sourdough bread mix. I followed the instructions, and it did NOT work. It barely rose, then when I removed it, the whole thing collapsed. The problem, I believe, is that I followed the instruction that called for 'room temperature' water. I didn't feel that was right, but I did it anyway. I should have trusted my instincts and used warm water. GRRRR. $5.50 down the drain.

| I have bought them before and they are very good. They are alittle fudgy, not cake type brownies. It is sad that the carbs are so high for a 2 inch square. I have bought the choco choco chip muffin mix but haven't tried it yet. I am going to wait a few more weeks till I lose a few more pounds. Gina 170/145/135 |

| I am on day 7 of induction. I tried the KETO chocolate chip muffins they were dry as well, I changed the recipe to 1/2 cup oil, and 1 cup of water - (like the Atkins bananna bread) They came out soooo much better! I have also had a taste of the bannana bread it is really good & easy to make. I also found low carb bread 3 carbs each slice, I found loafs of atkins bread & atkins ice cream - I have not tried these yet because I don't know if they are okay for induction. Anyone know? Thanks All 172/?/145 |

| I like the Atkins Lemon Poppy Seed muffins. I think they're 3 grams net carbs and they're not bad at all. I like to put butter on them and eat them when they're warm. I've also learned that since they're so darn expensive, I bake them, have one with my breakfast and then I freeze the rest of them. That way, I can have one anytime I want and I don't have to bake them every time PLUS, I don't have to worry about them being wasted. They're just as good heated in the microwave as they are fresh out of the oven |

| Badkitty, None of that is on induction. Just stick to the basics on the induction list. No breads, muffins, bars, etc..... These will come later in the later rungs of owl. Good luck

| Interesting, I feel duped by the Atkins website - In the advertiesement for the picture, the product I bought were good for all four phases. It couldn't have hurt that bad, I lost 6 lbs since last Monday. But I'll take all you experts advise and stick to the basics. Thanks for your replies! 172/166/145 |

| The bars are different from the breads and muffins. The candy bars almost invariably use a sugar alcohol, which in many people seems to act much the same as sugar. The breads and muffins are mostly fiber, with small amounts of splenda (perhaps with the exception of the chocolate chip ones) and shouldn't be all that bad for induction. I'd still avoid anything remotely sweet in the first 2 weeks just to break the habit, but I don't think that's a hard and fast rule.

| I appreciate your response. I thought it was okay - it is prescribed on e-diets as well. I think staying away from the bars & ice cream (it has 2 grams of sugar alcohal) I still continued to loose weight. the muffins are good for on the go! keto chocolate chip have only 1 carb each but they are small. thanks again everyone! |
