| On your way, I don't want to take a chance on bursting your bubble. But I noticed some cinnamon/sugar flavored pork rinds the other day at the store as well. As I was grabbing them up I read through the nutritional label and unfortunately noticed that they had 7 carbs per serving due to the additional sugar. Did yours have no sugar? or were they perhaps sweetened with splenda? I did an experiment at home and took some unflavored pork rinds and covered them with cinnamon and 1 pack of splenda. They were not bad at all.

| Just wanted to tell you about the way I make these cinnamon pork skins. I tried the sprinkle method but wasn't really too happy with it, so after a little experimenting, I now make them like this: Melt 1 stick of unsalted butter in microwave Add 1 cup of granular Splenda Add 1-1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon Mix this together with a spoon, and pour over 5 cups of broken pork skins (the flatter pieces work better than curled) With a large spoon, mix and mix and mix til all the pieces are covered very well. This takes a few minutes, but is definitely worth the extra time. Spread them out on a cookie sheet and bake at 350 for 10 minutes. They are yummy. |
