| Well, here's my $.02 for what it's worth: I ordered these online a while ago because there just weren't any stores that carried them. I'm happy I did, and I ended up eating all but 2 of the 12 packages I ordered before they expired. However, they really don't have the texture or taste of either pasta or rice noodles. I'd say they were more gelatinous, but firm, if that makes sense. I like to boil them, then fry in a little oil until kind of dried out, then scramble in an egg and chicken, veggies, and soy/ginger/splenda/garlic/sriacha/sesame oil with green onions. Kind of a fried noodle type thing. Good luck with them, if you decide to buy them. Just don't go into the experience expecting them to be like the noodles you are used to; it might put you off them.

I have just ordered two packets of these. The packaging is all in Japanese. Am I supposed to keep them in the fridge? They have been sitting in my cupboard as I didn't realise.

There is really no fishy taste after you rinse the noodles (in store Shiritake is all have tried) ......all and all I think they are a great subsitute for noodles. They really help fullfill that pasta craving (especially the angel hair variety).

I know the fishy smell of the store bought (House brand) ones disappears. If that's the only thing stopping one from trying these, you only have to put up with the smell for a minute or two

The Miracle Noodles are great. I had not problems getting an order shipped. I purchased the Angel Hair type. I cut up a few pieces of chicken and broccilli into a skillet and topped with Alfredo sauce to which I added a little salt, pepper and garlic powder and Parmi. cheese to taste. I rinsed the noodle for about 3 minutes and spooned on the hot mixture and they were great. The Miracle Noodles absord the taste of whatever sauce you add hot on top. I am ordering other types now. The texture is a little odd but they taste great.

I searched all over the DC area and couldn't find them. Just ordered a 12 pack directly from the company. I'm looking forward to trying it.

I ordered the angle hair noodles and have found them to be great. The fishy smell (I did not find this to be all that heavy even before washing) can be totally removed if you run water over them for about 5 minutes. I then usually put them is warm (not boiling) water until just before I am ready to use them in order to warm them up. You also have to dry them via microwave or between paper ts. I find that with food they are very filling and help to curve any hunger I have...that may be one of their greatest benefits. I found myslef eating about half what I normally would in terms of the sauce I added. I do wonder though.....are these really healthy? It has been my experience that sometimes things like this really are too good to be true. At the same time they have been a part of Asian diets for a very long time and probably are what they are...just keep wondering what is the catch.
