Aileenca - you spent 3 grams of carb on one piece of candy??!
Induction is a time for you to conquer your cravings. It's a time for you to clean out your system and rid yourself of these addictions. It's a time to go back to basics. It's a time to test your resolve to the program and to test your level of metabolic resistance - something you are not going to be able to do accurately if you don't stick to the plan!
If it's not on the Induction Allowed Foods List - don't eat it - and that includes all the SF candy and bars.
Feeding your cravings perpetuates them. Eating the candy may have taken your craving away for the moment - but the cravings will continue as long as you feed them and you're spending valuable carbs on junk food rather than real food! Dr. Atkins has given us the tools to conquer the cravings, all you have to do is follow the rules.
In the year I've been haunting low-carb boards, I have *never* seen anyone say they were sorry they did a completely clean induction, but I promise you I've seen zillions wonder if they'd have had better success if they had done it cleanly.
Low carb junk food is still junk food.
You can do it without it and you won't be sorry!
I wish you success
