    Unhappy Help!!!!!!

    Hi everyone i am new on here and would like some help from the more experienced memebers.

    I started atkins in November hoping to lose 70lbs so far i have lost 30 lbs however i am not stuck and cannot shift anybody more weight.

    I eat 2 eggs and half an avacado for breakfast
    for lunch i eat a tuna mayonnaise salad with lettuce cucumber and tomato
    and for dinner i have grilled chicken with salad consisting on lettuce cucumber and tomato.
    In between i have 600 ml of water.
    I also go to the gym four times a week spending an hour on cardio machine.

    I have not lost any weight or inches in the last month what am i doing wrong i am pulling my hair out so frustrated.

    Your body is in stall mode it's totally normal. This is what I have research and learned from this ADBB forum just keep exercising and eating healthy. All though avocado is good for you it's pretty high in fat.

    I would suggest trying more nutitious veggies. While avocado is ok, you really should go for broccoli, cauliflower, green pepper, green beans. Make sure you are getting enough water; at least 64 oz. You really should think about moving to OWL Rung 1 and introducing 5 more grams of carbs. Just my thoughts.

    I agree adding some other veggies in is worth a try. Lettuce is a bit low on carbs so maybe adding more carbs would help...pumpkin is something to think about. Also, chapter 15 is "Engine Stalled? How to get past a plateau." Might be worth checking your book and reading that. Good luck!

    Are you staying under 20 "NET" carbs? Total Carbs - Fiber = Net Carbs
    Are you getting at least half of your net carbs from veggies?
    Are you reading all the labels of any products that you are using to make sure they do not contain added sugar, corn syrup, other non-allowed ingredients?
    ***You seem low on your water if I am converting it correctly. You should drink at least 64 oz of pure water each day.
    Are you reading/following the Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution 2002 ed?

    I am just restarting Atkins but I agree with the adding variety to your vegetables and limiting the avocado. Do you eat the same thing every day? Shake it up with more variety of everything..tuna and chicken are pretty lean meat are you getting in beef?

    Hang with it. I had a 5 week stall... sticking to everything and nothing seemed to change and then all of a sudden I was down a few pounds, but more than that...I had moved down 2 sizes in clothing. I was amazed. Dumbfounded but amazed. And thankful!

    Starting Weight : 13 stones 7lbs
    Current weight : 11stones 4lbs

    : 8 stones 7 lbs

    I have been on this stall for 7 weeks, i think i will start adding extra veggies to the diet do you think it will make a difference?
    I do pretty much eat the same thing everyday.

    Congratulations on those 31 pounds lost already!

    A lot of people do seem to find that their losses pick up again after a long time on induction levels of carbs if they move to OWL and add more veggies, so it couldn't hurt any!
    Are you having problems getting most of your net carbs from vegetables on induction?

    Vegetables most dense in nutrients are lowest in sugar and should be your primary choices.
