Read through the OWL, Pre-Maintenance and Maintenance chapters in the book and the forums devoted to those phases here. In a nutshell, whatever you're eating in Induction forms the base for your OWL, Pre-Maintenance and Maintenance meals. For example, if he is on Induction and you are on the grains rung of OWL, you can still prepare the Induction meal, but additionally, you can have a 5 net carbs of a whole wheat bread with your meal.

| Well you can make one induction friendly meal and add a side or two for yourself when you get to the different rungs of OWL. Make beef or chicken with veggies, and then add in whatever you can eat on that rung. Congrats on losing! |

| Just remember this is your journey as well as his. What is recommended might not be necessarily what works for you guys, and that if it seems easier to cook just one meal for everyone, do it. You can always eat twice the number of veggies he does at that serving, or eat them at a different time. I am finding that OWL is remarkably like Induction with a few additions. It might not be as big a thing as you think it will be. Congrats on your success so far.

| ya Bowulf, I was thinking the same. If I were you I wouldn't worry about it till the time comes that it is actual, who knows how life goes then. Time changes everything ! I think now at this moment it is actual for you to concentrate on induction, there is a lot to learn about it and a lot to get used to, so better stick your time into that instead of worrying how to work around problems that aren't there yet anyway. Good luck losing for the both of you !!!!!!

| I cook for two and I'm the only one on Atkins, I find it extremely easy. Just do in reverse what I do. The main course is alawys a meat that we both like, we have an Atkins friendly side and then I make him a starchy side, no big deal to add one extra thing that I don't eat. I don't know why everyone thinks its so hard to do.
