Not sure if you're in OWL yet? but if you're at berries my fav is blueberries, or raspberries or strawberries, and freshe whipped cream with splenda.

Or sometimes i just have Cocoa powder (i use Fry's it has 0net carbs..and it's readily avail in canada) whipped cream and splenda, this also works with sour cream and splenda and comes out like chocolate pudding.

I also like canned pumpkin mixed with some cream cheese, splenda and pumpkin pie spice (Pumkins a higher carb 1 cup veggie so be careful with the amount). I think moochie also has a good recipe for pumpkin mousse that's easy.

If you don't wanna have something sweet to get your mind off of chocolate, then have something more high fat, like cheese, maybe some devilled eggs, or alot of ppl swear by pickles to get their mind off of sweets.

Cream cheese, so many things you can do with it. Like mix an ounce of cream cheese with 1 packet splenda, a drop of vanilla, and a drop of strawberry extract. Mix it up and eat it with sliced strawberries dreanched into two table sppons of heavy whipping cream. Thats tom food. Come to think of it, i should check the carb count in kiwi fruit, sounds like that would be good with kiwis too.

MMM I think I might try the pumpkin and maybe make my own pie out of it with a pine nut base or something that would be nubby. I am on OWL so I can get away with a little more. I always seem to get more carbs around TOM but, it's ok I am still losing so I am happy. I love pumpkin I think I will try that with heavy cream MMMM Thank you

Pumpkins the best..and very very good for you! I always have a can on hand. If you can have nuts, try making a crust from almond meal and ground pecans, a bit of soft butter, some splenda and some cinnamon. I've used this crust for my cheesecakes and even non-lowcarbers loved it. Flax may work mixed with nuts as well...but i've never tried.

Half a banana, sliced and frozen.
Handful of frozen berries.
Cup or so of soy milk/milk/cream, whatever.
Dash of orange juice/whole orange juice/grated orange rind.
1 or 2 teaspoons of cocoa powder (pure, not hot-chocolate powder)

You need a good blender!

Put all liquid ingredients in blender. Add cocoa powder. Blend. Add frozen berries a few at a time until blended. Add frozen banana slices one at a time until the mixture turns to ice-cream.

I haven't worked out the carbs, but as an occasional treat...

And even then very high on the glycemic index (i think they're one of the highest fruits?)! I personally don't htink they're worth the insulin spike. There's alot better, and lower GI , fruits out there if you ask me.
