I'm here! I'm not sure what to say about this. When you wrote that you weren't trying as hard what did you mean by that? Does that relate to food, exercise, or both?

Basically excercise I guess although I'm not logging my carb totals like I did in the past. I'm choosing low carb foods and have remained in ketosis when I bother to check. I accidentally broke my scale about a month and a half ago - I think that got me in the mood I'm in now. I can't weigh myself like I used to. I can measure and it is showing I'm losing inches. I need to get another scale - I'm just afraid that it will show a higher weight - not just that I've gained but ALL scales are different. When I weighed one thing on my scale I could weigh the same day on a different scale and have a 5 pound difference!! Anyhow!! I'm rambling I know. I think posting on occasion will help me get back into the whole grove of things. Thanks for the reply!

I can totally relate! I reinducted 21 days ago. I had totally fallen of the wagon and gained all my weight back plus some. It all began when I stopped counting because I was sure I had it all figured out and could just eat generally low carb. Then I would have a 'cheat' here and there. Then it was a habit. Obviously you haven't gone awry like I did, but counting was what really kept me in control. I'm the kind of person that has to be totally in control of myself or I'm out of control. But I'm committed to working the program and reaching goal. As far a scales, my doctor's scale is alway 5 pounds different from mine, but always showed the exact same amount of pounds lost as mine. I just started weighing again this morning. I'm not obsessed this time, but for me facing the scale and ketostix really keeps me on task. I hope you have luck in identifying anything that may hold you back from your goal. :icondance

Make exercise a regular habit. Plan for it, or you won't do it. Get an exercise buddy. Get back to writing EVERYTHING down. Log all your carbs. You are probably experiencing carb creep. Up your water. I started counting calories I eat, carbs I eat and calories I burn through exercise. You need to be aware of what your basal metabolism is and how many calories you are eating and the correct fat/protein/carb percentages. It's alot of work, but for me, it is a must because I tend to stray when I'm not holding myself responsible. Really analyize your carb intake, exercise and water. Good luck!

Excercise - whats that?? Lately it has been nonexistant.... I have a treadmill holding clothes right now, I just have to make that effort to get on it again!! I agree that I am having carb creep too. I'm not logging my carbs and I'm sure that I'm not remembering everything I eat. SO - I do plan on Monday being my "new" renewed atkins day. Thanks your help!
