Default Stretch marks

I know this has been discussed before, but I thought I'd start another thread. Maybe someone has something new to share.
I've had stretch mark for about 2 years now, they've all gone from red to silvery white. I haven't really thought about them much but now that it's summer again I wanted to try reducing their size and apearance.
I've accidently had alot of success on my arms. I got very badly sunburned and used an after sun cream for about a week with the skin constantely pealing off. When it healed I noticed that the stretch marks on my arms had all but disapeared. After reading up a bit on stretch marks on the internet, I discovered that most creams have little effect because they only effect the upper layer of the skin. Skin consists of 3 layers and the lower two layers are the one's that are damaged. So I did a bit of research. At first it looked like there was no hope at all. From my researched I realized that oil based creams penetrate deeper into the skin and discovered some home remedies that people claimed helped such as:
*Massaging cocoa oil/butter into your stretch marks(after a hot bath/shower/steam room).
*Placing a cloth soaked in custor oil over the stretch marks and either using a hair drier or bottle of hot water to keep the cloth hot, affectively opening the pores on your skin.
*Making your own cream, combining many of the recomended remedies:
coffee been grounds + olive oil + peanut butter(also apply after shower)
*Vitamin E oil
Then there's the commercial remedies, the most effective(for some people) appear to be Strivectin SD(very expensive) and Mederma(affordable). There are many others but I've been searching different forums to see what people thought of those creams and these are the only two that people have had success with.
The problem with healing stretch marks is actually getting the creams to those two lower layers of your skin. I've found 2 solutions that may or may not work.
*The derma roller: this is a rolling device that has a few hundred micro needles that drive creams under your upper layer of skin.
*A woman by the name of Jean Woo has a techinique for getting rid of stretch marks. The advice seems logical and might just be effective.

If it works for you please pay for it, I found a direct link to the ebook on another forum but apparantly it's not exactly free.
There are also laser surgeries but I don't even want to go into that. I just don't have that kind of cash to spare.

Personally I'll be trying the Jean Woo method, if I see any results I'll post here.

Anyone had any success reducing stretch marks, any stories to share?

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but healing a strech mark once it has gone to silver is impossible. Why? Because you are attempting to heal something that has already been healed. Stretch marks are scars. Laser treatments and plastic surgeries are the only things that truly can help.

I know it's unlikely, but I'll still give it a try. Besides I'm still young and the stretch marks do appear to be diminishing as my weight decreases.
Also the fact that the stretch marks on my arms have practically disappeared recently is proof that there is still hope...

I would not say it is impossible.. i am going to try to get rid of what is left with the link you sent.. I am going to try it.. I have stretch marks since the age of 16.. I use to be 200 pounds and dropped to 112 pounds..I can honestly say that they seem to be going away slowly.I did vitamin E and the good thing about this is the the marks tan so in summer i use to tan and they were invisible to the eye. THey also became not as deep.. What helps alot is excersize for the stomac.. You will see that with a tight tummy the lines seem much smaller..
