| I had mine removed about 2 years ago. It doesn't seem to be slowing me down. I think carbs irritate me more since it's removal to be honest. |

| You won't have any ill effects from it. You body is actually in a better state because its using the fat for fuel.

| I, too, have done this woe without a gall bladder. I never had any problems at all.

| Had mine removed a couple of years ago too...no problems.

| I had mine removed 9 years ago. I don't think it's had any effect on my weight loss.

| It's been a bit less than a year since I had mine out...woke up and asked the surgeon if I could have some damn chicken instead of the IV drip...lol...he almost fell over. On my follow up visit he commented on how well I healed and that I had fine muscle tone for someone nearly 50 YO. OTOH he wasn't a proponent of a low carb lifestyle...sigh...people. Q

| gosh.. I had no idea gall bladder removal was so ' common' (for lack of a better word)... honestly.. I only know one person without theirs.. so it's just interesting for me to learn it's really done more often than I thought.. |
