| Most Americans eat 10 to 15 grams of total dietary fiber each day. Health organizations such as the National Cancer Institute, the American Diabetes Association and the American Dietetic Association encourage 20 to 30 grams each day. Since a gram weighs about as much as a couple of paper clips I doubt that 47 grams of fiber will do you much harm. |

| don't forget thst that is both the soluble and the insoluble fiber and your intestines will get used to having that much fiber as their normal amount and function very nicely with larger looser stools and not those rock hard induction ones. I looked and I have more fibber in my Atkins carbs as a gaolie then your USDA site has for you already. you will be surprized as you climb the carb ladder how much added fiber you are getting on each rung.
