| Not that I have ever heard. The fiber in flax seed is just slightly under the number of carbs, so it's not going to impact your carb intake much, either. I wouldn't do it every day, but having an extra cracker or two shouldn't hurt you, weight-wise. In fact, you may, um, lose some, uh, yah......well, it's fiber.

| If someone is on induction and uses flax as an aid against constipation (or the opposite) it is suggested we start by using one tablespoonsworth a day and increase it till it works!! If however you have reached the nuts and seeds rung of OWL it is allowed as your 5 net carbs addition to your diet but may cause the same problems it cures in induction if you overdo it. Only experimentation will tell if YOUR body can handle it in quantity.
