| I started out about the same weight as you and it was around the 35-45 pound before people started noticing. You are also taller than me, so your weight was distributed differently than mine. Most started noticing on my face before anything else. |

| Haha Not to mock your pain, but I'm totally feelin ya chicky! I'm in the same boat. My husband is usually the MOST complimentary person when it comes to me. EVERYday he tells me how pretty I am, etc... But when it comes to the weightloss.. nothing. I don't get it. It's not that he doesn't acknowledge it when I bring it up, but there was never a revelation... Honey, your butt doesn't look quite as huge as it used to! Haha My feelings were hurt about it for a little while, but I realized that it was silly. If he wasn't always complimenting me on my general appearance, I'd be kicking his butt. But he does.. so I'll get over it. My family, on the other hand, started noticing after about 30-40 lbs. Some people at work haven't noticed at all... so who knows. |

| Yeah, I don't get it. A lot of people here are saying that people are noticing and they've only lost like 11 lbs. I work with only guys and not one has said anything! |

| I have lost 41 pounds. Some people notice and others don't. It's funny isn't it. My husband thinks that some people don't say anything because they are afraid they might offend, with a comment like, "Wow you lost alot of weight". He thinks some people would take that to mean "Wow you were really fat and now you're less fat". I don't know if I agree with his thinking, but maybe that's it. I think people just get so wrapped up in their own lives that it is hard to notice details about someone else.

| Yeah, and you will also find out that people might be thinking that you are sick and are afraid to ask or mention your weight loss. Guys don't usually comment much either, I have noticed. |

| If it's all guys I'm willing to bet they're afraid to offend you. When I was working at the truck stop guys that I knew for years and years would ask in a whisper "Don't take this wrong...but are you losing weight?" I think a guy asking a girl if she's lost weight is right up there with a marriage proposal on the scary questions list for the male species! Lol!!!! They weren't all like that though...one who was a good friend liked to keep an eye on my pants and loudly ask "Are you going to wait for those to fall off before you buy new ones?" He's lucky I liked him. Lol!
