Default 50 pounds gone

As of this morning I have lost a total of 50 pounds. I almost can't believe it. I started at 240 and now I am at 190. I was in a 22 or 20 when I started and now I am in a 14.

I am so grateful to all of the wonderful people I have met on this board that have helped me along the way, honestly I would not have made it without each and everyone of you cheering me on every step of the way. Thank you.

You know when I started I was almost 99% sure that this would not work for me, I just had to try something, I was so miserable. I hated myself, I was depressed and I took it out on all of those around me that I loved. I put the goal in my siggy and laughed, knowing without a shadow of a doubt that it was impossible for me. Then I started losing, and losing, and losing some more. I have now lost 50 pounds and I am about half way to my goal. I'ld like to be 140, just because I want to see what it's like but I may be just as happy at 165 or 150.

Today I am certain that I will make it, and not only make it but stay there. I have cheated only once during these last 9 months and I felt so miserable afterwards that I knew I would never do it again. I have learned so much during this process, not only about my eating habits but myself as a person too. It has been an uphill battle for me to lose these pounds, most of you know that I have fought tooth and nail for each and every one. I am now an excercise fanatic, I never thought this would be possible in a million years, I am such an active person now, full of energy and happyness.

When I came here I used to read about people who had lost 50 pounds, I would think; wow, look at them that's great. They would inspire me, motivate me, and encourage me, but I never thought that I would be one of them, well here I am. It has been an uphill battle but I love it, I wouldn't trade this learning experience for anything in the world. I am so grateful.

Alright, I just wanted to share some of my success, got to go workout now.

My goodness, you guys are making me tear up. Thank you so much, you have no idea how much that means to me. I also appreciate the added responsibility, if I am inspiring or motivating people then that means that I can't let them down, which means I have to push harder, so you guys are really doing ME a favor.

I felt just like you when starting this WOE. I thought I would get "less fat" , but I didn't see myself actually succeeding to this extent.

Way to go Yoly!
