Default Difference in Weight

So I bought a new scale yesterday. It's one of those weight watcher digital scales that also measures your body fat. My old scale was a good one but was not digital.

There is a 7 lb difference between the two scales. The new digital one says that I weigh 7 lbs more!!!! Are digital scales more accurate than the non-digital ones? If that is true then I guess I'll have to change my weight to 212 instead of 205. This is so depressing. I know what everyone is going to say too....forget about the scale...go by inches lost but not a lot is happening with inches.

Don't get down in the dumps about it. You could always up your goal weight by seven pounds... or be that much slimmer at the end, if you don't!

I posted in your journal wanna.

Everyone probably knows what I think about it...if it makes you feel bad, put it away for now.

Hugs for wannabethintoo. I know exactly how you feel! When I got a new scale in January it added almost 20 KILO to me. I was in fits! Fortunately I had a good friend who stopped me from destroying the new scale and burning down my apartment. Those friends are good to have.

Don't fret the 7lbs. They'll be coming off in a blink anyway!

I don't have any wise things to say about scales being or not being acurate or anything, but I really feel sorry for you cause i know how it must make you feel and after such good work it is not fair.
I would go with Iyamamaschke though, it doesn't change the amount of weight you have lost

Thanks everyone. I've decided to change to this new weight so I increased everything by 7 lbs. I don't like it but it had to be done.
