| It could have had severe frost bite or freezer burn. Or it could have picked up any strong odors in the fridge...those bags are sometimes thin and I find little holes in them for some reason where they seem to tear easily. Bummer on that broccoli!

| Kimberly, I've had bad experiences with frozen broccoli as well. I thought it was a bad batch, but it happened everytime I bought it. I was buying the generic store brand, so I didn't know if it was one of those "you get what you pay for" lessons. Ever since then, I've stopped buying frozen all together and always buy it fresh. If I'm lucky, I can find it on the reduced-for-quick-sale rack. I can get 3-4 large heads for 99 cents! |
