Finally!

I have finally managed to get myself under 140lbs! Am 139 as of this morning and am thrilled as I've had a really hard time of it over the past few months as regards getting my mind working on the whole issue of getting under 140. It's a huge psychological issue for me so am delighted.

Am now setting myself a mini-goal of getting to 126 by Christmas. My drama group at the office are staging a play in a fortnight so the fact that I have one of the important parts has helped tremendously in keeping me focussed on eating better and making a real effort to work on me.

Seeing nine stones SOMETHING on the scales means I can finally see that the end of being as unhealthy as I have been for well over twenty years is in sight. It will take me into next year to get those last fourteen to eighteen pounds off as I intend to move up the OWL rungs very slowly to be sure that this works and that the pounds and inches STAY OFF.

I'd like to apologise for not being on the forum as much as I would have liked to have been but have been a very busy little person over the past few months and time to post something of quality has not been around much, particularly when I knew that come the weekend at my store job it was too easy to eat things I know I shouldn't...!! That's the worst of working in a supermarket at the weekend - constantly surrounded by food and especially food of a high-carboyhydrate nature.
