Default Simple Atkins friendly desserts?

Dear All,

The past few days I've been having some whipped cream with cocoa and sweetened with Splenda, yummmy...just curious if there are some other simple dessert recipes out there anyone would be kind enough to share? I'm sure I could look on the recipe board...

Thanks

What phase are you in? Because "dessert" options change drastically depending if you are on Induction or OWL/Pre-Maintenance.....

I'm in OWL and my most favourite snack is plain yogurt, fresh or frozen fruit, a splash of Torani Vanilla Bean sf syrup and chopped walnuts.

This summer, when the raspberries were fresh I thought I was going to die of pleasure when I made this up! I prefer it over the whipped cream and flavouring I used to have.

Thanks all for your ideas! I'm goig to try to find some pumpkin spice around here somewhere and try that one! I am currently in Extended Induction, and going to try to stick on extended induction until I lose a lot more weight!

Oh, so you're still limited to the Induction Food list.

Think outside of the "box" when it comes to dessert on Induction. I ate soft-ripened cheeses like Brie or Camembert. Cream cheese based "Desserts" are an option too. Just remember that you are limited to 3-4 ounces of the stuff daily.

Pumpkin, rhubarb, and jicama (can be used as an apple-like substitute) are veggies on the Induction list that can be made into "dessert".

But if you can, you might want to re-train yourself in terms of your food habits. Do you "have" to have something sweet to top off a meal everytime? If so, what kind of effect will that have on you when you finally lose your weight? I'm not saying you should forgo sweet desserts for the rest of your life. But for many of us, it was our out of control eating habits that got us fat in the first place.
