| Isopure Zero Carb Whey Protein - lots of great flavors, although Strawberries & Cream is my old standby. 'Tis the best.

| I order mine on line from http://www.allthewhey.com/ that way I control what is in mine. Designer whey was being touted last yr as the better tasting one of the over the counter stuff when Bren's doughnut recipe was being tested.

| Yeah, if you want to cook with the stuff that is a different powder altogether. Bob's Red Mill has a pretty decent protein powder for cooking with - a bit expensive though.

| Why can't you cook with the Isopure, Kent? Thanks for the replies!

| you can cook with any protein but the texture and taste is different depending on what you used. There is now wheat protein isolate for cooking and it does a nice flour like thing better then the others do. If you want it in bulk then go with your discount and use Honeyvillegrains

| For cooking, you want something unflavoured in my opinion. Trying to match the chemical flavorings to your ingredients is a nightmare. Isopure only comes in flavored options and is really only made for drinking. (yum)

| Yep. A lot of recipes call for either vanilla or chocolate whey protein powder. I have some whey protein isolate (8000? if I remember right) coming. Will that do if I add cocoa to it for chocolate?

| well most already made recipes are also counting on the swetners in those flavored mixes too so you will need to use someof your bottle and maybe another type for the blended effect. Scott123 has a spread sheet on the blending amounts of each if you PM him you can have it. Oh wait 8000 is the wheat protein isolate and you will be using it mostly for bread stuff. Do you really want choclate bread? I haven't seen and dessert recipes using it but I guess you could.
