| I am curious about these also. I have been looking at these for a while but just haven't taken the plunge. Anxiously awaiting any feedback.... Anyone out there who has these?

| In working with both models in the store, I personally liked the Powerblock model better. The weights felt sturdier than those on the Bowflex, but that was with 40-45 pounds on each one. Here's the thoughts at a Fitness forum I frequent: http://forums.johnstonefitness.com/s...ad.php?t=22658

| I have the Select-Tech dumbbells and I LOVE them. Dh bought ours about 6 months ago. We went to 2nd wind exercise because we knew they carried both the PowerBlocks and the Select-Techs. We spent probably 45 minutes in the store working out with them and playing with them before we made our decision. I found them much more comfy and natural feeling than the PowerBlocks. I much prefer the grip on the Select-Tech dumbbells, but that's just my opinion - and dh's too. I'd strongly suggest going someplace that carries both and playing with them for awhile. Ratings wise most things I read placed them very similarly as did the sales person there - so it really comes down to personal preference. Compact, easy to use, easy to dial, etc etc. Definitely an investment I'd make again - but am glad I don't have to! Those suckers are spendy! HTHS ~Brook
