| I hear ya Betty. I'm a starchy carb junkie, so my "dessert" used to be extra helpings of potatoes/rice/pasta. So I was a daily "dessert" er too. Now my dessert is most likely cheese or fruit, if I have that at all.....

| I know, I'm the wierdo here, but I don't like sugar. I've never had a sweet tooth. I ate a LOT of fruit before Atkins and now...I never eat anything sweet, but enjoy eating the allowed fruit occassionally. So, I guess this survey didn't prove anything on my sweet tooth habits.

| I stayed the same actually, I ate dessert before rarely and now also rarely, never been a sweet-tooth really, but give me bread and all kinds of things to put on it and I eat the whole loaf.

| Pre-Atkins it was daily. Even if it was just a couple of "fun size" chocolate bars. Even on another low-carb plan I was on I would make all kinds of splenda sweets to eat. I stalled big time on that plan and didn't know why. Now I rarely have anything, even with Splenda. Once I kill the sweet tooth, it seems that even legal treats can start up the cravings again, so I rarely have anything.

| I've never been a dessert person, so it was rarely we had it as a family. On Atkins? Never.

| Good questons! *Pre-Atkins I rarely ate dessert... *During Atkins (about a year or so ago) I added the low carb sugar free candy and it became a problem, so I was eating that junk a few times a week. *Atkins-After Seeing the Light - now I have circled back and rarely have a splenda-ish treat rarely...

| I rarely had a "formal" dessert after a meal, but I frequently snacked all during the day at work on the various treats -- candies, cookies, etc. -- that we have available. I don't even see those things, now.

| Pre-Atkins I ate sweet things like chocolate or potato chips on a daily basis and several times a day when I really binged on them. Now... maybe twice a month if that and normally at least once of that if I did give in would be hormonal. I still have a sweet tooth but have learned to ask myself 'do I really WANT this and is it worth putting weight on for.... NO' Deborah |
