| Stop. Breathe. Breathe some more. You WILL make it through this. You ARE stronger than chocolate. Now take 10 slow....deep breaths. When I get emotionally "messy", I automatically want chocolate as well. It's a chemical/brain thingie that 2Big is awesome at explaining. But this is a good time to reprogram your brain. Do NOT drive to the store. Eat something with some fat in it, like a boiled egg or something else. The fat will help to satisfy your craving. Then find something to do to keep yourself busy until you settle down. Then deal with the issue that's got you so upset. We're here for you!! | you are anger now think hard do you want to give him the power over you that you wreck your Atkins! Nope so tell that chocolate or whatever nope nope nope I am more powerful then him and go exercise so you use up those harmful chems and you get some happy brain chems too.

| Excellent advice. Breathe and then do a workout. It's great for getting rid of all that anger adrelaline and you'll feel better afterwards. Right now you are ticked off at your dh. If you give in to chocolate you will then be ticked off at yourself. Don't do it!! Be good to yourself. Go for a walk or do a workout tape.

| Amy Chocolate is not going to help. Take a walk or exercise and think over the situation, that is what is going to solve the problem. Chocolate will make you feel worse than the argument that you had. It is evil. Softnred is right. Let nobody come between you and your WOE. Practicing discipline over the tempations is hard at first, but after it becomes a habit, it becomes easier. You are important and you are worth it. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise!

| Exercise is very good advice. A friend of mine said that when she is upset with her DH she would go to the garage and punch her punching bag – imagining that it is DH. When I am upset with DH, I would go play squash – also imagining that the little ball is his head, and then whacking it all over the place. After that I normally feel very good and can smile at him again!!! Please, do not sacrifice your effort up to now for something silly like a tiff between yourself and DH. They are not worth you giving up on your dream. Go hit that punching bag!!!

| oklay we want a report did your Atkins survive and did you overpower that chocolate wanting? what did you do? how did you resolve it? inquirying minds want to know so they too can know how to handle this for themselves and the rest of us want to be sure you are okay.
