| It varies from person to person and depends on your weight, your physical activity, what you eat, and other things. If I remember correctly, one can expect to lose about 10% of their "want to lose" weight during induction, assuming that it's a clean induction. People who don't have a lot to lose tend to lose more slowly than those of us with a big chunk to lose. It's a "Your mileage will vary" type of thing. |

| Like Joanne says, that is a completely independent or personal thing. No one else here has done Induction before in your body or your situation, so our numbers will be completely irrelevent. I had over 190 pounds to lose and lost 18 pounds on Induction (and 4.2 pounds per week), but does that make me any better than the guy who lost only 14 pounds, and he should have worked harder. Absolutely not. I am different from him. A very successful induction for you with 25 pounds to lose would be 2.5 pounds. Remember this is a journey not a race to an end. Welcome to ADBB, Janice.

| Well....I've lost 30 pounds.....in a year. We all lose differently, this was much slower than I thought, but I've lost 30 pounds and kept it off and I'm going for more loss. It really depends on your body, strictness, exercise, etc. Give it time and stick to the plan as much as possible and you will start to see what is normal for you. Good luck. |

| I lost 12 on Induction and then 85 pounds in 2005 a total of 98 pounds since starting. Since July I ahve not lost a lot 20 Pounds But, I am getting way smaller So it Varies some lose quick till they reach goal other Massively slow down like me as they get closer to goal but, either way if you are losing inches then you're doing great.
