| The recipes I have seen do not include fillers or breading, however if you are buying the stuff prepacked/ pre made you never know what they could be adding to it. It is great that you asked and were told there was no breading. Good for you for asking. Did you also ask how many carbs per serving, and what a serving size is? Because from that you should be able to tell if there are any “hidden” carbs. Also be aware that seasonings are not 0 carbs! You may be surprised at how many carbs are in different seasonings, so if you can ask about those also. As for the stix turning purple, yes, they could still stay purple if you ate some breading. It takes a different level of carbs to knock people out of ketosis, so maybe the breading doesn’t actually knock you out….that doesn’t mean you can have it though. It still has carbs, it is still illegal and it can still lead to cravings for more and more (which of course would knock you out)

| in theory you could eat several pieces of candy and still be in ketosis but that don't make it the right thing to do. so ask about your kebob stuff at the store and if they give you any greif about it do it for food allergies ( we are all allegic to carbs cause we break out in fat) and yes some donner does have fillers to hold it all together. Alton Bronw just did a show on it and how folk could do it at home and get the same taste and texture. So you need to ask about it.
