| I only looked at the first day (what can I say, I have a short attention span lol) It looks find apart from the bread. As Atkins as it may be, I wouldnt recommend it on induction at all, but yeah, looks good!

| What the ****! That's a perfect example of corporations corrupting the truth if I ever saw it! Talk about your biased views! That's a perfect example of it! I would never recommend bars, or cereals whilst on induction! I have personally been stalled on those bars. Don't believe the 'net carb' BS people!

| They really do stray from DANDR, don't they? I wonder if they've read the book themselves! lol There are some good menu ideas in there though if you pass by the bars/cereal/bread/whatever. They go way over the veggie limit so it's more an OWL menu than anything and wow, they sure push their products. That's too bad, because you sure don't need anything like that to succeed at the diet. |

| Product pushing - definitely. No way would I recommend all that junk to an inductee. Moochie- You're right- they do go over on the veggies as dictated by DANDR - BUT - LOL Back 3+ years ago when I talked to a counselor at the Atkins Clinic she really stressed that the 3 cup guideline was laid out the way it was to make it easier for people who didn't have access to scales and/or carb counters. By sticking to the 3 cups ( or 2 cup/1cup) rule, people are all but guaranteed to stay under the 20 grams. I was told by two different people there that if a person has access to carb counters and scales to go ahead and work it that way. It was just as honest an induction as it was to stick to the volume measurements, and that's exactly what I do when I'm inducting. It's like Cleo and I debated - your cup of lettuce or tomato or whatever has the very real probability of being more or less than my cup of the same and we'd both still count it the same carb wise - and we'd be wrong. With weight measurements the numbers are more reliable and accurate and you can sure eat a heckuva lot more than 3 cups! I still haven't met anyone that got fat eating low-glycemic veggies The menu has some great ideas, for sure, but it sure leaves a lot to be desired so far as sticking to the good doctor's tennants of using whole, natural foods.

| I thought it sounded too good to be true, My hubby found it and I told him there was no way that could be used for induction. Many thanks all |

| And notice that days 6, 9 and 13 are the only ones that do NOT go over the 20 carb daily limit. Wow, that was mind blowing. But when I first started, I had the DANDR and the Atkins Essentials book. I was trying to follow the menu in there because this WOE was confusing to me. In that book, their menus were much like that one. Luckily for me, I couldn't find the Atkins products where I was shopping so I did the best I could. It's too bad really. New people wanting to do Atkins will go there first and see those menus. Then when it doesn't work, they will come here

| Quote from website: Following the Atkins Nutritional Approach™ means most of your meals should be made up of whole foods. As you begin the program, you should be especially diligent about avoiding any trigger foods, such as bread or sweet-tasting items, which may have created cravings or a loss of control that caused you to fail in the past. OK, ready to dig in? Bon appetit! So, let's introduce a franken-slice of bread the first day!!! And a SWEET Advantage bar and so on.....
