Question for the Mods: How does my "title" change?

I am not sure where I should have posted this question -

Is there a spot on this board where I can find out how titles change and what all the titles mean?

i.e. - how do I get promoted from "ADBB Amateur"?

Also, what do all the titles mean, such as "ADBB Adventurer" and so on...

I am not sure if there is a post somewhere laying out the categories but I do know they depend on number of posts and change automatically when you cross the magic numbers

Yep... it's automatic and depends on number of posts... except of course the "Supporting Member" title... you have to contribute to the board ($) to get that.

It has to do with your number of posts. Usually, with vbulletin and other software, you're looking at different titles based on your posting frequency. I helped set up the names we're using today (with Perry when he was an admin), and if I'm nost mistaken, there were about 5 or 6 categories, all beginning with "a"... So if you were new, with, say 0-200 posts, maybe you'd be an ADBB amateur. Then if you went from 251-500, you might have then become an ADBB Adventurer... and so on. If you want the exact post count number or to request a title change, you'll want to ask board administrators directly. They have access to the post count numbers and title delineations, as well as the keys to change user titles (though vchanging is an extreme rarity as we specifically chose non-offensive titles) should someone either be offended by theirs or wish something different.
