| Well, I've heard of this. They even have "men's" magazines targeted towards that type of man. I don't know if anyone here is actually big enough to be a "model" though. (I saw one once, but only b/c I couldn't avert my eyes quickly enough). Well, this is the same issue as if you weren't skinny enough. He's not for you. You will find that good man one day when the time is right. But you're right. He should have disclosed that before you got too far into the relationship. But then they never do, do they? They say "it's okay if you're a bit heavy" when what they mean is they don't mind if you look like JLo and her booty. Sounds like you've kept your sense of humour about it though. {{{{{tabekat}}}}}}

| Just goes to show that there is someone out there for everybody. Those are the kind of guys that end up having control issues at some point - especially when their girls get mentally healthy and start losing weight. You're better off....

| Yay for being too skinny!! But on the bright side, he helped ya move and you didn't have to pay him!! Hang in there! Remember, ya have to kiss a few (or 20) frogs before you find your prince! It was kinda rude to not let you know ahead of time and what is up with being "heavily emotionally involved" but still driving out to meet you. You aren't supposed to shop around when your cart is still full! |

| Oddly, my friend in Pensacola had dated a guy like this. At first when she told me we both cracked up...I could hear it in her voice "no more dieting or worrying about my weight". But, he told her the same thing...that she wasn't fat enough; that he liked them bigger. But, in the end she wouldn't have been happy through her life staying large or getting bigger -- we all want to feel better, healthier and almost 99 percent of the time that means losing a few pounds if you are overweight. Everybody is unique and who knows when chemistry will strike?

| Trust me, you're better off without a guy like that! You should be accepted for who you are on the inside, not your exterior size. It's not like car shopping where you go looking for a compact car, midsize car, or a large model... ya know? You can do better, and I'm sure your prince will come along. Best of luck to you. Rick |
