| You've ruled out food poisoning? Generally Induction Flu happens in the first week, (it's your body withdrawing from caffiene, sugars and other bad carbs) and symptoms can be different for each individual. They range from fatigue, headaches, nausea, body aches....so this could be Induction Flu making one last stand. If so, you should be feeling better soon! On Day 7 I was still feeling like kaka but it got better after that. Take tylenol or ibuprofen, make sure you are drinking all your water and getting enough sleep. If this persists for much longer than a few days, get in to see your doctor. Are you eating correctly? Not waiting too long between meals? Are you having a bite or two of breakfast despite the nausea? You may want to post a typical days menu so we can have a look in the 'Review my Menu' forum (just read the sticky on how to post a menu that is in there) |

| Hottie, this is not a normal event for someone at this point on the Atkins program. It may be that you're just sick with a stomache flu, or some other nausea inducing illness. I agree with the others, however; I'd love to see a typical day's menu before commenting any further.

| I did just post a typical menu on the "review my menu" board. I do not believe it is an illness really. It seems to settle down some later in the day. I am open to any suggestions or speculations though. I do not want to fall off the atkins wagon. I did read the sticky about the induction flu just a few minutes ago, and feel like perhaps that is the situation. Weakness, headache, and the nausea-sounds to me like just some withdrawl symptoms. I just had not read about the induction flu until now.

| Good observation, Jen. I did the same thing! I've learned, now, to never take them the first thing in the morning, until I've had breakfast.

| Ya know...I went thru the same thing. It was almost two weeks into induction...and I just couldn't look at food or I would almost vomit. I had to choke down any food...it was really really wierd. It lasted about three days for me. I didn't really find anything that helped....just suffered thru it. Good luck
