| Steph, that sort of thing really winds me up also. Did you see the the diet trial thing shown just after new year hosted by Lorraine Kelly? They just do not bother with research at all. I guess they just think it makes good telly. grrrrrr Rich

| No I didn't catch that. I meant to watch that thing with Paul McKenna though, I was quite intrigued as to how he can claim there's no such thing as losing weight by what you put in your mouth, but by how your mind is...hmm...

| Oh they always misrepresent this diet. It's to the point where I ignore it.

| I'm more shocked if they do research and know what they're talking about. Betty

| Perhaps it's just in the UK, but it's not classed as a 'Diet' over here. It's just that thing some people do to lose 5 lbs to fit into their bikinis the week before they go on vacation. Seriously. It's not a real way to lose weight. Apparently. That annoys me too. haha I'm not an angry person, I swear!

| Oh, here in the US, diets that you go on to lose weight quickly are called "crash diets" (don't ask me why).

| Atkins doesnt even fall into the Crash Diet catagory. Not the fad diet.
