| Dont go out tonight! That is the best way to remain in control is to stay at home and dont put your self into temptation until you are ready. Do you drink alone? Maybe you should stay in and watch a movie or read a book.

| Yup, do as Matt says. Put your feet up - in a nice warm bubble bath. Maybe bring your book in with you? Don't go out and don't buy any liquor or bad carbs to have in the house. Some people find that making a special legal treat (check the recipes thread) for the weekends helps keep them on track. Matt and I have both recently quit smoking. I don't know about him, but for me I have to avoid certain social situations for a while in order to keep myself out of danger. What we are suggesting is that you do the same, until you've got yourself more under control. Good luck! Stay strong - I know you can do it!

| If I read your post correctly, you are consuming 1000 cal a day with exercise 5x a week? I'd be spent too! I'd be eating the refrigerator handle! Why?? That's at least 500-800 below what you should be eating. Possibly more depending upon your physical output! You are very likely in starvation mode and will hold on to every little bit of fat. I'd say work on that!

| My recommended calorie intake on fitday says i should eat around 1200 a day , im managing that easily on atkins. Im struggling to get the fat intake and not go over, im weary to eat 1500 calroies to be honest it just seems like your going to gain. Thanks for the advice though, on atkins i cant do less than 1200 really if im doing it properly.

| I know this may sound silly- but I am a big drinker when I go out. I haven't been going out as much, I also have been eating 1000-1100 caland exercising 5-6x per week. Last night I slept for 12 hours! eek! but thats ok... I also work 2 jobs and then have housework sundays!!! OL- anyway, back to my point. I have found I really like IBC Diet Root Beer. I have those as stress relieving treats at night, they just have replaced that drink that I used to have when I came home... When I have one of those, it si sooo refreshing I don't care if I don't have beer or wine! Good Luck! How did it go so far? |

| Well i could lie and say i didnt cheat but i wont . But im proud of myself for not binging like i would on everyother weekend. My boyfriend got a very good job on saturday so he took me out to dinner to celebrate. I had one glass of wine and four chocolate champagne truffles. That could have ended up in me pigging and binging when i got home but i took my book to bed and thats was that. This morning i felt like such failure for not making it through the whole weekend, but then i realise i did quite well considering what could have happened and that i managed to stop myself. I may have failed atkins this weekend but i feel like a got some where emotionally. I was gonna give up on the atkins , but when i woke up this morning i decided to start from scratch again, I had my eggs and smoked salmon- i have had no wine with my sunday footie match, instead i left my flatmates to watch the game with the copious bottles of vino and the bottomless mountain of chips and i went running. FABULOUS- it started to snow, i ran longer and harder than i have before and i thoroughly enjoyed it! Plus i dont have any guilt. FEel bad for letting you guys down, but i feel more committed to reaching my goal of 124lbs by April 13 than ever before. thanks for the support- and sorry

| Good for you!! You feel better emotionally, and that is important! Small steps, everything good thing takes time. Its also good to be honest, and you didn't hide from ADBB either. You didn't let us down, and didn't quit.
