Yeast and Weight loss

OK sorry Guys But I was on A biotics for 10 days and I got not one but 2 horrible infections and I can't seem to get rid of it. I have not lost any weight since could it be from the yeast. I have been at it for a while but, man I still ahve lots of questions. I was reading through the Book and they need a whole entire book on this ROFL.

Any how anyone Have any personal experiences with this and what do ya do. I am taking Acidophilous.

There is a whole forum about yeast under the Atkins for Heath section, it is called Canidida (Yeast) & Atkins, they will tell you everything you ever wanted to know about yeast there!

Yeast can definitely be a factor. I recommend oil of oregano drops in your water (a drop per ounce as a fungicide), apple cider vinegar tabs, and you might want to talk to your doctor about taking a short run of nystatin if yeast overgrowth has been a problem recently. Antibiotics will definitely affect candida albicans and other forums of yeast overgrowth.

Thanks Cleo I got Another canestin But if it doesn't work I am going to get something from the DOC. I haven't had one of these in so long I can't tell you. It sucks.

SO Thanks a lot I am going on Kiss for a BIT to get me out of this and relive some of my Bloating gas and Discomfort.

ACV....
yogurt with live cultures! eat it and smear it! It works! Stay away from fungus foods...cheese, mushrooms, etc. ACV is ok but regular vinegar is considered "dead"

I hate taking antibiotics because they cause the yeast infections. My family doctor gave me a single dose pill, but I'm sorry, it's been so long ago I can't remember the name. It is a single dose to get rid of the yeast infection. Worked wonderfully. As I remember, I didn't even need to go into the office. The doctor just called it in to the pharmacy.
