Question Help!!! Feeling Discouraged!

Well, my first two weeks, I lost 13 pounds. Then that time of the month hit and no weight loss - no surprise. But since then I have actually gained 4 pounds - ACK!!!!!

I did drink far too much diet soda last weekend. Normally, I am very careful to keep my carbs under 20 grams, drink boatloads of water and have increased my exercise (up to an hour of walking from 30 minutes - although it is broken up, since I have very little time with work, school and homework). I have gone down one pant size.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is this normal? Please let me know that I am not alone! And any hints would be appreciated!

I don't want to be discouraged any more! HELP!!!!

Just stick with it....sometimes things like that may occur. Simply make sure that you follow atkins exactly!!! You may have also gained pounds, but still have shrunk in size. It sounds wierd, but it can happen! Try not to just go by what the scale says, but also by measurements. that way if you experience a gain you can check your measurements and you will often find that you have lost inches!!! You seem to know what you need to do and what you need to work on, just owrk on that and it shall all work out for you. Good luck!!! You are doing great!

I understand your feeling! I too went through the same thing, things will get better. Just try to stick with the correct eating and don't lose hope. Good luck!
