Today I wish you a day of ordinary miracles....
A fresh pot of coffee you didn't make yourself.
An unexpected phone call from an old friend.
Green stoplights on your way to work.
The fastest line at the grocery store.
A good sing-along song on the radio.
Your keys right where you left them.

Who says you can only eat breakfast foods for breakfast? There is a lot more than bacon and eggs out there! What about leftovers from dinner for breakfast if you need something quick?

(I just realized the mock danish and pancakes might not be the healthies thing on earth, so here's some other ones!

This is what I do when I want oatmeal:
1/4 cup flax seed meal
1/2 cup vanilla whey protein powder
salt
1-2 tablespoons of wheat or oat bran
2/3 cup water

or muffins too:
3 eggs
1 1/2 sticks butter melted
1 c Protein Powder
3/4 c Splenda
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 c water
1/2 cup syrup, flavor of your choice (like DaVinci or Torani)
1 c flax seed meal

Preheat oven to 350. Beat eggs and add melted butter. While beating add (one by one) Protein Powder, Splenda, baking powder and salt. Beat well. stir in syrup, water and flaxseed meal. Put in greased muffin tin and bake 25 minutes.

Just a note on the recipes Pineapple that they aren't Induction acceptable (too high in Flax), but they are good examples at what OWL'ers can eat for breakfast. I am more the eat anything for breakfast. If it is good for lunch or dinner, it is better for breakfast. It might not be traditional, but it works for me.

What is it that he doesnt like about the eggs? Is it the taste or the fact that it is an egg?

Just a food history side note....

In 17th and 18th century America (when we were still British colonies) eggs were eaten daily, but they weren't a "breakfast" food. Colonial breakfasts consisted of cold meat and porridge. Eggs became a "breakfast" food during the 19th century.
