| Elderberry extract is great for boosting the immune system and I've always sworn by it. Most have a nasty alcohol mix, but there is a juice concentrate of it I much prefer. http://www.ihealthtree.com/elderberr...l-sources.html I haven't ordered from the above link; just googled it. Price is great but you might check out the company if you decide to order it. Airborne gets high praise from many. I gave away my new bottle of it last week and it cured two people in another family. Our store was out and when I finally got more it's been hit and miss with taking it. It's supposed to be taken every 3 hours to really boost up the immune system. Good luck! ~ Linda

| Sarah before you swalow any new extracts make sure you know how they effect your other medical conditions cause some highly recommended as safe stuff can mess up some of the conditions you have. Also if you find it is safe test it on your skin ofr a few days to see if you arer allergic to it before you swallow it. many folk have plant allergies and discover them when they take plant based supplements and extracts.

| YA I know LOL. I will do what is suggested I was off of exercise for a while I always have at least 1 day of rest LOL but, who knows maybe I wasn't ready to jump in all the way yet. Thanks for all the suggestions Sarah

| Garlic and chillis are the best natural things for boosting the immune system. My partner rarely gets the flu - we've been together 9 years and he's had it once, and he threw it off after 5 days. He eats a LOTof garlic and chilli, every other day at least, and often 5 days out of 7. I cannot tolerate them at all and have a dose of flu most years. Natural things are worth a try, but I don't know how long it takes to build up to useful levels in your body.

| My father has always sworn by Elderberry. He grows and dries his own berries and keeps them in an old Mason jar. Every time we were sick as kids, we had to eat a handful of Elderberrys!! I hated them as a kid, but they really do work. I never thought of taking it as a supplement. Thanks for all the great ideas!! Oh, didn't mean to steal your thread! Sorry! I do hope you get feeling better and find something that works. Keep us posted.
