| Ya know what? YOu are where you are. You have been making progress and you've been feeling GREAT! THAT'S what's important. Take an old pic and compair them. You'll see a difference. I had to do that too in order to see it. You should be sooo proud of yourself for taking control of your life when you did. You made the decision when it was right for you, that's what counts. You keep fighting and give it your all. I have faith in you and I'm so glad you started Atkins and are one your way to a healthy, happy, beautiful new you.

| Sometimes we need to remind ourselves on how far we've come, as opposed to only seeing how far we still need to go. I also wish I had found and started Atkins earlier...like back in the early 80's!! I have tons of pictures of me that make me cringe...and I know I look hideous in my start picture in my signature as well....but see that smile? I was smiling because I knew I was at the beginning of an exciting time in my life. And so are you!! You may not be happy with those photos, but in no time you'll be looking back and recognizing the changes that you had made at this point, and it's going to be an awesome record of your journey. Don't be so hard on yourself...be proud that you started when you started, and use this as motivation to stay strong. |

| Checkers i can sympathsize! I too have developed an allergy of sorts to pics. Just don't like the way i look in them. But take heart, in another year you can compare and see the tremendous difference you will have made. Focus on the good things now too. Are your clothes getting loose? Heck by May you'll need a whole new wardrobe for your trip!! keep up the good work! |

| I'm sure hoping that I'll need a new wardrobe by then. I'm stuffed into size 14s right now and I'm setting a goal to get down to a 10 in 7.5 weeks. May be to much to hope for, but I'm going to work my *** off until then. I'm pretty darn sure I can get into 12s by then. Speaking of ***, I had a butt muscle injury working out this morning! It hurts, but it's feeling a little better now and I'm walking around okay. |

| Good for you on even getting the pics taken!! I was talking to DH today about family pictures, but I am not brave enough yet. I always take the WORST pictures!! That is why I have't posted any, yet. I still gotta get that nerve up!! I will say, we expect pictures from your vacation when you get back!!!
