| Aspertame is NASTY!! Yuck!! If you miss the taste of grapes, why don't you try the Diet Rite White Grape? It has Splenda (only after you have drank your water of course) and that way you won't eat those grapes!

| It's not just the flavor sometimes, though. I mean, the texture is something I long for, in a lot of things, actually. I mean, there is a low carb bread and tortilla out there, and that's pretty decent. Then, there are other things that I miss and/or long for. Like certain pastries. The flakiness of the crust, or whatnot. I don't want to get too detailed, as it may cause a relapse, not just for myself, but for others that may read this... All's I'm sayin' is, once we've kicked the sugar, we don't need as much to get the same taste. Last time I was on Atkin's and jumped off, I had a coke, and couldn't finish it, because it was 4x sweeter than I remembered. Until I got used to it again, that is. If there was a product that was made with actual sugar, rather than aspartame, or.. Wait, what am I saying? Here I am justifying my cravings... No, I can't. Diet Rite Aid? Does it have any aftertaste? I had one of those flavored waters, and it had an aftertaste, and the aftertaste kills my appetite altogether. It's also why I can't drink alcohol or coffee. If I can taste it, my gag reflex starts acting up, and I have to spit it out. I can't even try to force it down. I hate being the designated driver... |

| I don't know if it has an aftertaste, I don't drink soda anymore. It didn't to me before Atkins, but my taste has changed so much. I can't imagine how sweet soda would be to me now. I do know what you mean about texture! I miss sandwiches on crusty, Italian bread! Oh well, I always tell myself that nothing tastes as good as thin feels. I don't drink, so that part doesn't bother me either. Hang in there, being thin and healthy is worth it!!

| I have considered switching over. I'm on week 5 of induction. I want to get down to a certain point before I switch over, because I have an important event coming up, and originally, I didn't plan on doing anything for it, but seeing my progress, I changed my mind, and will be doing it. I cosplay, which is a form of costume designing, that happens at anime conventions. I may be able to make one of a certain character, and I think it would be insanely great if I were able to pull it off. Which is why I am staying on Induction until at least that weekend. (It's in June, btw) If I hit that point before, I will definitely consider switching to OWL, but until then, I'm gonna stick it out. I still have my bracelet, which is more than enough incentive to not cheat. It reminds me of what I'm shooting for. Those grapes will just have to wait. |

| Good for you!! I am happy you plan on moving on to OWL, its key for long term weight loss. That cosplay sounds cool, you will have to post some pics for us!!!

| Lock your roommate in a cupboard and only feed them on grapes for a week. that'll teach em a lesson! Waddaya mean "A bit harsh ?" sheesh...no pleasing some people...
