| I once read somewhere that it is pointless for women to weigh the week before, the week of and the week after their periods because the hormone fluctuations make it impossible to get any accuracy. I just don't weigh the week of, but I do weigh the other 3 weeks. I know that the week of is going to be high because of the water retention, and it just depresses me too much. |

| I think it's different for every woman but it certainly isn't uncommon for weight fluctuations around menstruation times. |

| I go up before every Period and stay up till it's almost done I hate it I am sooo bloated it's nuts some months are worse then others this Month is really bad I am up 10 Lbs Yuck Sarah

| Put in the search word "TOM" (time of month) if you really have any doubt. If you have a good notion that TOM is on his way to visit, especially if accompanied by headaches, bloating, irritability, pain in the $$, cravings, mood swings, extra lbs., nausea, &/or the desire to hide out for a few days , you may wish to try wha has worked for me (not counting chocolate!!!!!!!!! Personally have success against all of the above (including duration of visit This definately belongs elsewhere.

| GRRRR............ MEN have it so easy! They don't have to worry about periods, giving birth, hormone fluctuations, bloating and all that crap and they wonder why we are so moody.... Then to top it off they can even lose weight faster now isn't that a fine how do you do. Pardon the ranting.... as you may notice I am PMSing at the present time. |
