I wish also that some one post their story, I wanted to lose only 10 pounds. I have not weighted myself since last week, entering in my 4th week of (extended) induction. What I am going to do is to buy one of those fat analysers scales and see if my fat % is normal. If it is , maybe the 10 pounds are muscle and I am going to consider myself at goal, but still will do atkins (ppp, premaint and maint)

The first time I lost over 90lbs of fat. I maintained it for a year and then had a 20lb slip up. It took me 2 1/2 months to drop the 20lbs again. No worries.

It doesn't matter if you have 10lbs or 300lbs to lose. Atkins is a healthy, effective way to get the job done

BellaCarol- Know that the body fat scales are less than accurate. The numbers will only be as consistant as you are in taking the reading (i.e. in the evening, nude, a couple of hours after eating - and do so consistantly). They're a great way to gauge overall progress and trends, but the only truly effective way to get a body fat reading is to do the dunk tank. Even the callipers are only as good as the person doing the measuring.

General rule of thumb for success: If it requires a degree in chemical engineering to pronounce it, you probably shouldn't eat it.

Here is an interesting site showing the different ways of measuring (guessing) body fat, which explains the different methods with diagrams.
